Christians: On using children to proselytyze others?

On using children to proselytyze others:

In Jesus camp, the owner Becky Fischer is quoted saying:

"I wanna see young people who are as committed to the cause of Jesus Christ as the young people are to the cause of Islam. I wanna see them as radically laying down their lives for the Gospel as they are over in Pakistan and Israel and Palestine and all those different places, you know, because we have... excuse me, but we have the truth!"

"...They [refers to children] are so usable in Christianity."

Do you agree/disagree with this premis: Do you feel these trains of thought can actually put children in harms way instead of being beneficial?

Another case in point: Towards the end of the movie, the children go out on proselytyzing missions on their own.

At first, when I read your question, I thought you might be trying to make fun of Christians but I remember seeing that movie. I thought back to my impression at the time and I remember thinking that those children are too young to be standing on street corners where people could feel provoked. I believe that if a person is strong enough in their faith, God will protect them. However, in these troubled times, why use children. Let them be children and grow to learn more. In the movie, Becky seemed to be speaking out of fear or jealousy. Fear because Christians are more "put down" now more than in recent times. Jealousy because the media seems to hold Islam on a pedastal for fear of being labeled or sued somehow. It's a nutty world and emotions are high on both sides. If I was one of those children on the corners talking to people, I would at least want one adult with me if for no other reason than to be sure I had my facts straight. I'ma writer and I can't always quote my own words well. Would I want a child to take a chance on misquoting the Bible? No mater how strong their faith is, that could happen and a misqoute could discredit the cause. As it turns out you had an interesting question. I just hope only those that saw the movie will answer so they can be informed.
